When Someone Tries to Hold You Back
I used to have this "friend" that would tell me to "get all my ducks in a row" before doing something. I think it related mostly to dating. The funny part of this is, she didn't have HER ducks in a row, yet there she was telling me to get mine in a row. 🦆🦆🦆
One of my most successful actions is making decisions on the spur of the moment. Just going for it. Deciding and doing! 💪 I've made the biggest changes in my life with that operating basis. 🚀
Above is a photo of me in Colombia. I had just been fired from a job not too long ago and decided to go out on my own and full-time in my business as a Professional Organizer. I went to this convention that was offered on a ship which was sailing in Colombia at the moment. ⚓
Do you know how many people had negative things to tell me about Colombia and NOT to go?!?! They really wanted to hold me back and told me about drugs and crime and danger and.. and... and. ☠️☠️☠️
That is how you are stopped from life changing experiences, my friends (if you listen). I didn't though. 💪🖕 I booked my flight and I had the time of my life. 🤩 I met new friends that I'm still friends with, I saw things I never saw anywhere else, I walked the city streets at night time and NOTHING happened! I was in a group of course. Let's be safe not stupid or sorry, people. I enjoyed the best coffee and chocolate cake of my life. 😋
That trip was also the launch to how I could expand my business and charge more. 💰 The convention gave me knowledge and a morale boost I didn't previously have. 💪 There was some giant confusions that occurred but I've since learned that it can be a good sign of alignment going into one's life. 📶
So my suggestion is, if you feel in your gut that something is the right thing to do NO MATTER how crazy it may seem or the risks involved, I say DO IT. Only you can determine your future. 🤩💪
